On Monday 12th of April, TV3 featured Sled Dogs Ireland - Irish Federation of Sleddog Sports on their Ireland AM show. Members of the Federation travelled from different parts of the country to demonstrate live on air, how easy it is to get involved, and the advantages of getting out there and getting fit with your dog/s. The Federation had a great opportunity to let people know that no matter what kind of dog you have, you can still get involved in the broad range of activities on offer in the world of Sled Dog Sports.

Though confined to a small space to demonstrate the different types of equipment, the dogs (and the mushers) behaved extremely well, and demonstrated how these activities don't have to be about dogs baying and racing at high speeds around forest trails, with the musher scootering/pedaling for all he is worth!!
