The Kusko 300 race 2010 was won by John Baker. The race began from Bethel at 6:30 pm on 1/15/10. John Bakers starting time was 18.38 on the 15^th and his finishing time was 18.26.22 on the 17^th. John has been mushing for 15 years.  He owns 35 dogs in his kennel in Kotzebue. Some of the highlights of 2009 for John have been, a third placing in the Iditarod and and 1^st place in the Kobuk 440. John and Iva Baker have two children Alex and Tahayla.

Martin Buser was placed second and Lance Mackey third.
